1973 Chevrolet Corvette Additional Info:
1973 Corvette, 350, auto, AC, PS, PB, T-top, 82,665 documented original miles.Original window sticker, original shipping doc. Original owners manual. I believe it still has the original spare tire still on original rim never used. Very clean project with lots of new parts in boxes and installed. From the extensive documentation that came with the Vette, the original owner, a lady out of New Jersey, purchased car new in 1973 and had ownership until 2009. Car was still road driven when sold. 2nd owner Lancaster, Ky, bought car with plans to strip car down and repaint it, paint having faded/oxidized over the many years prior. 2nd owner purchased the following according to his own inventory at time he started to restore it: Stainless brake calipers, discs, master cylinder and booster, flex lines(all installed), emergency brake (stainless-installed), gas tank (installed), radiator reconditioned with new brackets and rubber supports (installed), power steering pump and lines(installed), front sway bar (installed), bushings and linkage (installed), Water pump(installed), fuel pump(installed), Carb rebuilt. The following are new parts he purchased not yet installed: Seat foam and covers, carpet, deluxe door panels and new console, new exhaust pipes, front bumper, lower valance and brackets and an assortment of hardware and smaller items. He saved every receipt including the last time he filled up the gas tank and drove it before he started the restoration. Frame is in excellent condition with NO rot, the body is in excellent condition with NO fiber cracking at stress points normally seen for these years/style. The disassembly wasNOT done haphazardly, screws, nuts and bolts into zip lock bags. Nothing was hacked up in the disassembly, done very cleanly. Idea was to have the body repainted, finish installing the rest of the replacement parts. He never got to this point. Car came to me through an acquaintance, is in great shape so I now have it but I only restore mustangs and exotics. I am currently working on a 1 of 27 Lotus Espirit "Highwing" Turbo SEfor my collection and want to put the funds generated from selling this Vette toward that project. It is an excellent opportunity to own and finish this Vette. This is a No Reserve auction. High bidder owns it. I can provide transportation in my private enclosed car hauler for a $/mile rate TBD. I reserve the right to cancel auction at any time because this very original and clean Vette is also listed in publications for sale. Please be sure to ask questions, bid appropriate to value and if you are a zero history bidder or a bidder with a poor feedback percentage, I will cancel your bid. My history speaks for itself, I have sold mustangs, mustangs and more mustangs, a Ferrari and several other muscle cars and tons of parts over the years with only two negatives (both were bulls$%#tters trying to get some money and item) So feel free to confidently bid and ask questions. Payment can be made in form of cash, verifiable bank check-car leaves after check is cleared and bank wire transfer (have system in place to protect both you and I and verifiable bank contacts included!! Contact and deposit be made NLT 48 hours after end of auction. 500.00 non-refundable deposit required with 48 hours.
