Correctly restored 1967 Corvette Convertible, 327, 350 HP L79. This car has spent its entire life in southern California and central Texas. Fully restored from the ground up. Engine rebuilt and balanced, runs very strong. Body stripped to fiberglass and painted correct Marina blue lacquer. All new, correct interior, Bright Blue Vinyl. Original 4-speed transmission, 3.70 rear end. Have pictures of all numbers and castings. Engine cast in March and car was built in April 1967.

The engine was rebuilt by Leo Machine in Austin, Texas. Have pictures of rebuild, all receipts of parts used. Connecting rod/piston assemblies balanced to within 1 gram. Engine runs strong (hits 70 MPH in 2nd gear), and runs cool, even in Texas.
Car was restored by UJ Backus of Manor Texas. He is well known for restoring cars to Top Flight NCRS and Bloomington standards, he used all correct materials and paints for the frame and entire suspension. Paint is outstanding and is lacquer, like Chevrolet used in 1967.
This car drives as new. No rattles, no unusual noises. Steering box rebuilt, new rag joint, new upper and lower steering column bearings. Shifter is solid, synchros working, can downshift into 1st at 35 MPH.
