Here we have a1963 Chevrolet Impala Super Sport(true SS)with what is believed to be the original 327enginethe car was “born” with and Muncie M20 4-speed transmission.
The 327 / 300hpengine has been completely rebuilt (no paperwork), and runs out extremely strong. The 4bbl carburetor was recently rebuilt for optimum performance. This engine starts right up; does not smoke; and absolutely roars down the road. The Muncie M20 4-speed transmission shifts perfectly with no grinding or popping out of gear. A 327 / 4-speed is (in my opinion) the best combination for a classic muscle car providing fun and drivability.
This is a nice, straight car that is now easier to drive with power steering recently added. The body lines are straight and true, and the car shows very well. I’m sure therehasbeen some sheet metal repairs over the years, but it was clearly done professionally. This car sports an older re-paint that has held up very well over time, and only show minor chips from the miles enjoyed.
The underside is very clean with undercoating applied. Everything is solid, and any metal that may have shown rust was replaced professionally.
This is a turn-key 1963 Impala SSwith the best engine and transmission combination out there. This car needs nothing but a new owner to enjoy it!
