For Sale is a Rare 1963 Corvair Monza Spyder 4 speed convertible Turbo with 150hp. I am selling my collectible classics and downsizing for health reasons. There were only 7414 Corviar Monza Spyder Convertible Turbos made. Body, interior and engine in good condition. Clean car. Runs very well and smooth- starts the first time every time and is a very reliable car. Gives very good mileage for a 6 cylinder car. You can use this car as your daily driver. Car has been re-painted with the Original 63 Corvair color – Laurel Green Poly. Paint job done only recently. Previous owner had it painted light blue for 13 years but I didn’t like the color. Car was garage kept for most of its life and after 54 years the only rust on the car was a little rust on the front floorboards and a 2 inch square rust spot at the bottom just below the passenger’s door behind the trim- most likely caused by someone jacking up the car at the wrong place. These areas have been welded and repaired and anti-rusted. The car has several new parts: oil pan gasket/new belt/ points/trunk seal/engine lid seal and some other mechanical parts and fresh oil and filter change. Clutch and the convertible top has been replaced only recently. All electrical parts including the original radio work with the exception of the left signal light ( works but sometimes finicky) the tachometer and the temp gauge. Tires are about 80-85%. Car shows 01010 miles- probably gone over once and is 101,010 miles. Has all matching numbers. VIN is 30967L110939. Car is located in BC Canada- just 25 minutes from the US border to the south.
