1948 Chevrolet Other Stylemaster Additional Info:
Up for sale is this 1948 Chevy 2 door sedan. This car was in an estate of a local car guy who did his own work and tinkered with multiple cars at a time. This '48 has been completely rewired and converted to 12volt. Added a few gauges, stereo, and a third brake light. Three things he didn't get to finish was hooking up original heater, and the fuel and amp gauges do not work, although the wires are there for them. Everything else works, all the lights, turn signals, wipers ect, all work as they should. Chrome wheels with newer tires, new exhaust. Rebuilt radiator, gm one wire alternator. Car runs and drives like an old car, and It is fun to drive! Paint has it's fair share of dings and scuffs, most the trim is in good shape, as well as the grille. Also has the rare accessory third bumper gauge on the back bumper, neat piece! All the glass is good. The interior is missing door panels, retains the original headliner, and seats. Overall, a fun car to just use as is, or continue to upgrade. Inexpensive way to get into a pre '48 hot rod. This is Not a show winner, it is a driver. It has blemishes, and is not perfect. But it is not rusty, is presentable and is a fun old car to just drive. Personally, I would adjust the ride height, change the wheels and do some finish work on Ulphosltery and just drive it as is. Bid to win, this has a reasonable reserve and will make someone an inexpensive way into the car hobby!! Thanks for looking.
