1957 Chevrolet Corvette Convertible Additional Info:
This Corvette is apartially restored original that I purchased from the original owner a number of years ago.It had beensitting in disrepairfrom around 1989 until 2007.Runs Great with 58,900 original miles, professionally rebuilt engine.IT IS A DRIVER, not a bowtie, but it could be with a "body off" restoration. This vehicle is being sold "As Is" With that said, the reserve is in line with a car that still needs work.
VIN # E57S105643 (Clear title) Block #3731548 F70IEF Venetian Red/Polo White (repainted) 283 V-8 Carter 4 Brl Carb WCF-B Intake F197 Some issues to consider: Frame has some rust. (It had snow tires on it when I bought it) Convertible top was restored, but Shelby Trim did a terrible job so it has some issues Some chrome was replaced with aftermarket due to extreme condition of originals but I still have the original parts that can be restored. Dashboard is original, but at some point in the 1960s, the Wonderbar radio was pulled out and replaced with an 8-track requiring the hole to be enlarged. It now has a cover plate. I bought a new dashboard but it has yet to be installed. Gas tank and radiator have been replaced. Front drivers side fender was rebuilt by Paragon Reproductions to correct poor body work in the late 50s.
