1955 Chevrolet Bel Air/150/210 Additional Info:
Selling my 55 Chevy that has been restored top to bottom over the course of a few years. Driveline was built and installed by GK Racing: fully built 468 ci big block, .060 over sleeved, 9.5:1 compression, forged crank, Scat balanced rotating assembly, ARP mains and rod bolts, decked 4 bolt main high nickel block, (2) Chromed Holley 650 double pumper carbs, ported and polished 291 heads, B.D.S. 871 Supercharger, fully built B&M TH400 3-speed tranny with a manual valve body and 3800 rpm torque converter, narrowed Dana 60 rear end with chromoly 33 spline axles, Detroit locker with 3.73 gears, 4 linked rear end, fully tubbed rear end with 31x18.5x15 wide Mickey Thompson tires on 15"x17"WELD racing wheels, full cage, pro car race seats with simpson lap belts, fuel cell with dual pumps and dual batteries, custom sound system, matching headliner and full rear seat, new wiring, new glass, new chrome, disk brakes with drop spindles, line lock, .......list goes on and on.
No rust, no damage, no issues, Car starts right up, runs smooth, pulls strong, tracks straight, and attracts a ton of attention. There is $40k into just the motor, tranny and rear end, $25k into paint/body, $15k into cage and full tub conversion, $5k into electrical/wiring, $15k into other misc parts, plus the car which was $15k. As you can see, there is well over a $100k tied up in this beautiful car. This car was built in Oakland, CA (4th letter in the VIN is O) and stayed in the Bay Area its whole life. Restoration was completed a few years ago, and car has always been garaged and babied. Come out, see the car, make an offer.
This car was built to be driven on the street, and it will run a 9.8 second 1/4 mile with a smaller pulley on 110 octane fuel, and full slicks. As it is set up right now it puts down 650 horsepower with a 5 lb pulley and it is very streetable. I drive it a few times a week, and enjoy every second of it. Would like to get a convertible Chevelle instead (may consider trades for a well sorted out car).
