1952 Chevrolet Other Additional Info:

This is a very clean example of a 1952 Chevrolet Deluxe Coupe. The car is original with the exception of a repaint that was done in the 80's. I have found no rust issues. The navy blue paint looks good and shines up well. Very nice driver quality paint and trim. The doors close extremely easily and solid. All glass is good and functions nicely. The drive train is the original 235 straight-six engine and automatic power glide transmission. The car starts and runs great. It will drive and stop. All electrical and gauges seem to be working, including the dome light, AM tube radio and cigarette lighter. A brand new Tanks Inc. fuel tank was just installed along with a new fuel sending unit and new mechanical fuel pump. The new tank is the upgraded 18 gallon version with the block off plate for an optional in-tank fuel pump for easy LS upgrade, should you choose to do so.The manual drum brakes are working but will need to be gone through in order to make it road-ready. The interior is original. You could absolutely leave the interior as-is however, new carpet and seat covers are suggested. The driver's seat is really the only seat that shows substantial wear. The car includes many extra trim pieces and some pretty detailed records from the previous owner who owned the car since the early 80's. This car would make an excellent candidate for modern drive train and suspension upgrades or just refresh the original equipment and enjoy it as-is. Either way, I personally would leave the exterior just as it is. Although it is an older repaint, the paint looks great and the trim has that mild aged patina that just looks cool. The car is Located in the Dallas Fort Worth area of Texas and is sold as-is with no warranties written or implied.
