1967 Chevrolet Other Pickups Additional Info:

We've had a lot of Chevy pickups come through our showroom, but few have approached the incredible smoothness of this 1967 Chevrolet C10 CST. From the sizzling red paint to the spectacular bed floor to the smooth-running small block V8, it delivers show-winning good looks and offers performance and comfort for those who love to drive. You already know from the price that this truck is something special. There's not a panel on it that hasn't been smoothed, molded, or altered in some way, yet it's still 100% recognizable as one of Chevy's finest. Deleting most of the trim and emblems certainly helps achieve a slick look, but it's that Torch Red paint that seals the deal. Lots of time and effort went into getting all the bodywork smooth, and it shows, with great gaps and a shiny final finish that makes this truck show-worthy in every way. The front bumper was smoothed and tucked in close to the body, then treated to show-quality chrome plating. The same goes for the rear bumper, which hangs under a stock tailgate that fits better than any other we've seen. And yes, the bed floor is an absolute work of art. We realize it's not for hauling anymore, but the workmanship is impressive and we guarantee it's the one thing that everyone will stop to admire. The interior is every bit as well finished as the bodywork. A custom bench seat offers beautifully stitched leather seat covers that update the C10's formerly bare-bones interior. The door panels are likewise unique works of art that incorporate beautiful stitching with artistic flourishes like the amorphous arm rests and slashing chrome trim. This Chevy's original instrument panel remains intact, but it's encased in a billet panel and the gauges are now big, bold Dolphin dials framed by a custom billet steering wheel on a tilt column. The padded portion of the dash is upholstered to match the seat, and tan carpets on the floors help control noise and heat for comfortable cruising. Thanks to a powerful A/C system you don't have to worry about long highway drives in warm weather, and a trick AM/FM stereo system fits in the original slot and powers a CD changer hidden out of sight. Reliable power comes from a 350 cubic inch Chevy V8 tied to a TH350 3-speed automatic transmission, making for one of the most bulletproof powertrains in existence. There's nothing radical going on under the hood because getting there is more important than reinventing the wheel, but it is very nicely kitted out with tons of chrome dress-up pieces. Vortec heads on a '73 block form the foundation, and it's got an Edelbrock carburetor and intake, both of which have been chromed and polished. Long-tube headers feed a custom Flowmaster dual exhaust system with twin tips peeking out from under the rear bumper. The firewall and inner fenders are as nicely finished as the rest of the body, so you won't think twice about lifting the hood at a show and it'll probably earn you more than a few big trophies. The suspension has been lowered using tubular A-arms, drop spindles, and lowering springs, and big Budnik wheels fill the wheel wells using giant 275/40/20 performance radials.Wild yet functional, this pickup embodies vastly more work than your average cruise night special. There's surely vastly more than the asking price tied up in it, so if you like the look you're going to love the way it drives. Call today!
