1956 Chevrolet Other Pickups 3100 Additional Info:
Nice 1956 Chevy Shortbed stepside truck! It has been my project truck for years, but I need to sell it to pay off some bills. I wish I could finish it, but I have to keep my priorities. I hope it will go to someone that will appreciate the awesome styling of these trucks and the timeless classic. I know its not perfect yet, but it is a great daily driver!! Runs and drives great! The engine is a Chevy 350 with a little bit of a bigger cam. It is a 4 bolt main motor.Something like a RV cam. It runs great! The transmission has a small leak which I believe is coming from the speedometer housing. Could use a remote brake fluid reservoir since the brake master cylinder is under the floor and not lined up under the original servicing hole in floorboard. Heater controls need to be finished hooked up as well as other items. Shouldn't take a lot more work to get it complete. If you have any other questions feel free to message me. Odometer reading on dash is the original for that truck before the newer engine was put in. The Chevy 350 has roughly 50,000 miles on it.
