I have for sale a rare 1955 Chevy Truck 5 window produced for about 3 months
Drive Train- 1954 chevy truck 235 engine with around 150 psi of compression on all cylinders. engine has full tune up and runs great no smoking or noises. Transmission is a 3 speed with a Mr Gasket floor shifter conversion kit that shifts good. Has all new Clutch kit with 0 miles (clutch, throw-out bearing, pressure plate). Truck has the original rear axle and open drive line( First year for open drive line). Has a new fuel tank and sending unit mounted on the back seat.
Brakes- Stock- drum brakes all around with new master cylinder, wheel cylinders, and brake hoses. Truck stops!
Suspension- Stock nothing modified
Body- Original blue paint so nothing is hidden. Truckis probably 95% rust free with asmall hole in the toe board areaand one cancorner has a very small pin hole. I have the correct hood with emblems for this 55 1st series truck. Truck did have a dent on right passenger cowl section. Will come with a new replacement cowlpanel that will need to be spot welded in. The front clip is currently unbolted but all the parts are there. Original wood bed
Parts included-I have an original windshield that would be good for a driver truck with new windshield gasket still in the box. I also have the original corner glass but no rubber. I have glove box door, and gauges that match the mileage of the current 1954 engine truck has.
I have the correct 1955 Chevy truck engine and transmission but everything has been disassembled. I also have all the parts for the correct for 3 on the tree column shifter.
Overall great project truck. I have too many project and need to let something go. These 55 will only become hard to find so here is chance to get one
I also have an old California title. But truck is missing the ID Tag. (new vin tags are around 25)
