1988 Chevrolet C/K Pickup 1500 Custom Additional Info:
Great little truck with all kinds of custom touches means you will not see another on the road like it!
Body:Very solid truck, feels very tightas it goes down the road. Nice straight body with steel cowl induction hood up front and steel rollpan on the rear. Eye-catching paint is Kryptonite Green separated from the black by color-shifting Chameleonflames, I tried to show how the colors change in the sunlight but the camera doesn't do it justice. In the front you'll find a custom grill made just for this truck, combining elements of both Chevy & GMC grills. All the lights on the truck are custom (and street legal), front and rear. Custom door handles, custom mirrors, hidden trailer hitch with flip-up rearplate and bedliner are also included.
Drivetrain:This little beauty has no shortage of power thanks to a strong 383 Stroker engine.. The enginehasa very street driveable camand an Edelbrock intake & carb. All internal parts were precision balancedand itruns great! The enginewas built forgoodidle quality andfantastic throttle response. A complete Edelbrock engine package makes it look great andfull length Hedmanheaders and Flowmaster dual exhaust makes it sound great but not too loud, just right. All that power flows through a700R4 transmission that is beefed up to Stage 2 level,to acompletely rebuilt POSIrear axle with 4:11 Yukongears and axles.Although this truck is very capable oflighting the tires at will around town,it is a pleasure to drive andwith the overdrive it is very nice to take out on the highway. It has an electric fan with auto thermostat and a 4 core radiator so no worries about overheating, Edelbrock carb with electric choke and MSD ignition for instant start-up hot or cold.
Suspension:Truck has been lowered properly using 2" Belltech lowering spindles in the front and de-arched leafsprings/new shackles for a 4" drop in the back. Rides and handles very well, doesn't bottom out and is very comfortable.
Wheels & Tires: Chrome 18x9 wheels with 255/55-18 Falken speed-rated tires. All the tires are in excellent shape and the tread is like new. Truck rolls very smoothly down the road.
Interior:Interior has billet gauge cluster with custom gauges, dash mounted tach, new carpets, great stereo system with a Sony suband2 speakers in a custom enclosure behind the seats, 2 more Sony speakers in the dash,2 amps and Kenwood head unit with CD, USB andBluetooth hookup for hands-free phone. The stereo is excellent but I hardly use itbecause the engine sounds so sweet!
Truck is ready to go and needs nothing to be enjoyed. Fly in, drive home!
Lots of money has been spent on it and lots of time. It is a verynice truck that turns headsand gets attention and compliments everywhere it goes. It has been babied and loved and is in great shape. It has not been driven hard or raced and is adult owned.
