Super rare Chevy s10 with factory isuzu diesel engine.

1985 Chevrolet S-10 Tahoe Additional Info:

One of the most unusual diesel vehicles ever. Factory original Chevrolet S10 with the Isuzu 2.2 diesel and five speed manual transmission. The S10 and the Tahoe package was loaded with Xtra cab with jumpseats in back, power windows, extra guages, and air conditioning. With only 102k miles and no rust this is an exceptionally rare truck in solid mechanical condition. It starts instantly, no smoke, no blowby. Runs and drives stops as it should, the diesel engines make vacuum through a pump and the brake booster does not work, brakes are fine, just no boost. All lights work, tires new, not going to win any speed contests but with a 5 th gear it gets up to freeway speeds fine. I notice the wipers can be slow so might have a poor ground in the switch somewhere, alternator 13,9 volts, new battery. I would drive it 1000 miles tomorrow. Just don't be in a big hurry. Gets damn near 40mpg. The interior door panels are missing pieces comes with a box of misc interior parts.
