1986 Chevrolet C/K Pickup 1500 Additional Info:
I have for sale a classic 1986 black short bed truck with a rebuilt heavily modified 350 engine with less than 10,000 miles on it. This truck was built for speed and to be loud.
If you want to turn some heads on the highway, this is the one for you. It has a newly rebuilt heavy duty transmission matched up to the engine to be able to handle the torque this thing puts out and only has about a 1000 miles on it and brand new extra wide tires with less than 500 miles to make it more stable at high speeds. Belts, hoses and starter were replaced about 500 miles ago and a new power steering pump was put in about 200 miles ago.
It was repainted about 8 years ago but for some reason, (bad job I guess) the clear coat on the hood and top has faded away, not chipped, just faded. The difference in contrast should be visible in the pictures. You can repaint it or not because the biggest plus with this truck is the engine. It starts and runs great.
The gas and speedometer gauges are tempermental but easily replaced if you desire. Interior, the seats were replaced about a dozen years ago and show some normal wear along the edge on the drivers side but other than that, are in good shape and they even have a corded remote control with a massager built into the seat back. It actually works and feels nice. So its not perfect but its in excellent shape for a 30+ year old truck.
Here is a link to hear run.
Im only getting rid of this because I want to clear up some room in my driveway and it sits here and is very rarely driven.
