Job loss forces me to sell this 1955 Bel Air Coupe. The plan was for a high-end Resto-mod car but I can't afford to complete the project. With over $80,000 invested my loss is your gain.
All the heavy lifting in body and frame work has been done. Frame, differential and suspension have already been painted red. The main body is ready to go to the spray booth and $4000 worth of paint is included in this deal.
No expense has been spared in prepping the body and includes new rear quarter panels, doors, front fenders, hood, trunk, roof skin, seat mounts, floor and trunk pans, as well as, the seamless firewall. Four-link rear suspension has been installed and the differential has been rebuilt and includes Positraction.
Work's been done by Keith's Restoration who specializes in restoring Tri-Five Chevys and runs a large parts business for these cars. They have done a fantastic job on this Bel Air.
You have a lot of options to complete the car. You can work with Keith's, arrange with your own restorer to pick it up and finish up or do it yourself. This is a unique opportunity to build out a 1955 Bel Air the way you want instead of having to take something already selected and finished to someone else's desire. The quality in this car will let you go anywhere from a modest OEM-style to a full high-end show car.
The offer includes the take-off parts that are available for reuse as you desire, including small block 305, TH350 transmission, and about $2000 worth of new parts from Danchuk. Additional build photos and documentation available.
