Up for sale is my 1994 Chevy Suburban 2500 6.5 Turbo diesel 4x4. I looked at 5 of these trucks before buying this one. Most of the suburbans that are left up here had bad rot. This one was by far the nicest, has no rot anywhere, solid frame and body, glossy paint and a clean interior. Now it is 23 years old so of course it has some imperfections, a stain here and there, a little paint chip or scratch but overall this truck is very nice. Non smoker truck as well, no bad odors.
My intension was to use itfor my new transport business. After I got it I brought it to my mechanic for a good once over. He did the oil change, installedbrand new ac delco batteries, andchanged thealternator. The guy I bought the truck from justput all brand new brakes at 98,000 miles which cost 1200. This truck fires right up, 4 wheel drive hi and lo works perfect, runs and drives perfect, trans shifts smooth,brakes nice, all windows and power locks work, no strange noises and no leaks of any kind just the normal slight sweat off the valve cover,. This truck is in turn key condition, ready to drive. The only things wrong with it that I know ofare radio does not work, If I kept it I was going to put a navigation in it, and also the ac will need a charge, the compressor does kick on.
The reason I am selling is becausea couple of the contracts I got require a 2012 or newer vehicle so I will not be able to use this truck. I am very disappointed because I really like this truck a lot and I have a lot of time and money invested in it. I specifically bought this truck over a new one in the first place because they don't make it or anything similar anymore. It only has 99,000 original miles, you would be very lucky to find a lower miles nicer2500 diesel suburban(believe me I looked everywhere)
