1979 Chevrolet C-10 Additional Info:

Beautiful truck. A true daily driver! The 700r4 overdrive transmission and Fitech fuel injection make this a great driving combination.

Paint and body:

New base coat clear coat paint that has been sanded and buffed down to a very nice finish. Door jambs were cleaned and painted to match also!

New side body molding and new side mirrors.

The inside of the bed is scratched, but is just general use. It is not beat to death. New inner fenders

Interior:
The front seat is out of a 90's Chevy truck and is actually one of the items still to be completed. It sits on a blue base and is the blue cloth of the day. It has a nice cover on it now, but the seat really could be recovered to complete the interior. New door panels. New dash cover. All new window and complete door weather stripping - both on the cab as well as deep down into the door where the glass rolls up and down.

Engine / Mechanical

350 small block. Doesn't leak or burn any oil. Stock hydraulic camshaft. New GM Vortec Heads. New Aluminum vortec intake manifold. New Comp Cams 1.52 roller tip rocker arms. New Fitech 3003 TBI Fuel injection and fuel commander. Rebuilt Alternator. New Starter. New HEI distributor as well as spark plugs and plug wires. New battery. Rebuilt 700r4 transmission. Engine sounds great with dual exhaust with an "H" pipe. New radiator. This truck can sit in 100 degree bumper to bumper traffic and not get hot. Lowered with a 6"inch flip kit in the rear including a C-notched frame. Front was completed by 3 inch front drop spindles and 2" lowered springs.

Dual 16 gallon fuel tanks that both work properly. Yes, the switch on the dash toggles between the tanks.

Drives straight down the road with no wandering or pulling. The steering is very tight due to installing a new CPP performance steering box, new tie rod ends, and a new power steering pump.

New Air conditioning system - I just put on a new compressor, new condenser, new dryer and new lines - blows hard and cold.

Wheel & Tires
Ridler Torque Thrust style 695 20x8.5 front with 255/40 and 20x10 with 295/40 (New 20" tires)
To be completed:
Turn signal cancelling cam needs to be replaced as the turn signals do not automatically cancel after making a turn
Interior dome light doesn't work.

Please call me if you would like to discuss any other details of this truck. Odometer shows 70k, but I am pretty sure it is really 170k.
