1959 Chevrolet Other Pickups Custom Cab Additional Info:

Very desirable, 1959 Apache big back window, short fleet side, Custom Cab, original V8 truck. 20 year old resto on a low mileage (roughly 60k), clean Tennessee truck (documented). At time of resto, engine compartment was detailed and painted, as well as underneath of truck. I installed a 1974, Chevy 350 "010" four bolt main engine with only 54k miles, brand new HEI, wires and rebuilt Holley 650. Engine is backed up by a reliable Saginaw four speed and is a blast to drive. Truck rides very nice, runs great and is a major attention getter. Medium Blue paint with just a few minor flaws, but no rust or bubbling anywhere. I have crawled all underneath this truck and only see some a few signs of any previous rust (pinholes in step supports). The steps and hinge pockets are in great shop and I can't find signs of any patches in the cab, floor or bed. As stated, the underneath was detailed at time of resto and is still very clean. Chrome is in great shape, with a brand new rear bumper and brackets, just installed. If you know anything about these trucks, you know that bed accent chrome is expensive and desirable. Interior is in nice shape. Heater box and controls are not currently installed, but included. Also has stereo and six CD changer. I also installed new hood hinge springs and it appears that new hinges may be required. Only bid on this truck if you are a serious buyer as this is a binding agreement.
