1950 Chevy 3100 5 Window Project With Patina
This is a clean title California Non Running/Driving Project Truck that is missing drive train and needs full restoration.
Body: Pretty straight body with no real signs of visible rust other than a small amount of rust in the lower rear cab on pass side. Most other panels still look good. Solid floors. The panels are very usable with that hard to duplicate patina. There was a sunroof installed at one point so the roof has a hole that was red neck patched. The bed will need new wood but seems very usable.
Interior: Has the correct front seat. What you see in the pictures is what I have. No wiring installed, missing heater unit, and door latches. There is a correct speedo/guage cluster but not sure on usability. Missing most glass other that the corner glass. These glass kits run about $340.
Brakes and suspension:The front has a IFS suspension with rack/pinion and disk brakes. This needs some welding to be completed. There is a new master cylinder in box included. Expect to replace all brake lines and hoses. Rear end is also a 10 bolt Chevy with stock leaf springs. 5 lug GM bolt pattern.
Engine and Trans:No engine, trans, or drive line included.
Exhaust: No exhaust included.
Wheels and Tires: 14" aluminum mag wheels. Tires have good tread but should be considered rollers as the do show age
Parts included: Full length running boards, 2 corner glass pieces, 1 gauge cluster, usable gas tank, brake light with old California plate, original steering column and wheel, new brake master cylinder.
Things to know: Clear California title with non op status. Very nice restorable patina truck ready for your vision as bagged, farm truck, street rod, or what ever. Truck is loosely assembled for transport and is somewhat rust free. If you don't see it in the pictures, I don't have it.May deliver within 300 miles of San Jose Ca for a fee.
May be interested in some trades but prefer cash. I'm a Chevy guy so i'd look at Nova's Camaro', side by side like rhino, dune buggy, 30's hot rods, other projects, or?
