1990 Chevrolet Suburban Silverado Additional Info:
Up for sale is a 1990 Suburban Silverado K2500 4x4 Suburban. 5.7 350 V8 engine. Two tone; Gunmetal/White. Non Smoking owner only. It has been in the family since 1990 as we bought it from the Chevrolet Dealer as a GM Program Vehicle. It only has 103k miles and all of the are Highway. We bought the vehicle as a vacation vehicle to go to our vacation home in. We used it mainly during the summer and went about every weekend, which is about a 2 hour drive one way. We would come back at the end of the weekend, and it would be parked until we returned. It was stored a few months out of the year in the winter, as we did not use it during that time. It was never used as a work vehicle or a city driving vehicle. We had cars we drove to work, etc though it was rarely used as a backup vehicle to fit something in that couldn't fit in the other car. It was never involved in any accidents and has been very well maintained. It was repainted by Don Bullock Chevrolet during the initial GM paint recall campaign that was issued on all GM trucks of that year range. The paint condition speaks for itself. It is in superb condition. We have had no major issues with the vehicle other than replacing the starter and alternator once, and also the radiator. It has never ran hot or anything of that sort. The A/C and rear A/C work great, we had it converted to R134a about a decade ago. It is also equipped with the rear heater which we never used, but it works also. No offroading or abuse ever. It has always been adult driven. It has never been modified or altered in any way; it has been kept 100 percent stock. We really hate to let it go, but only use it about 1000+/- miles a year to keep it is good working order. Carfax will verify this during annual inspections. Some of the family passed away and we no longer use it for the reason we bought it. It is time to let someone else enjoy and appreciate it- they sure do not build them like this anymore. The engine starts right up, it does not use oil and does not smoke when it runs. it revs without hesitation and runs as it always has, smoothly and quietly. We just installed a 2016 Silverado Stainless GM muffler which is a 600.00 muffler. It will never need replacing. Power steering is remarkably smooth and has zero slop or play. We also have the GM service manuals we bought from the dealer (several big books), that will come with the truck. We did put in a cd player but still have the original Delco radio with EQ it came with and that will come with the truck also. A couple of the rear speakers are original and need replacing but that is it. Power windows work, although they are slow as all of the old style suburbans, and trucks are. 4x4 works perfectly in all ranges. Transmission is smooth and tight, zero slips. A few years ago prior to a trip to Florida, we took the truck to Stevenson Chevrolet and told them to Flush Everything. It was not required but performed. Differentials, Transmission, Transfer case, Power Steering, Brakes, Coolant. A/C Delco battery, Exceptionally maintained. If you are looking to lift/lower it, chop it, cliff jumping, mudding, or any other crazy stuff- we would rather you found another one.Dealer just completed a FULL detail to get it ready to sell. Wash, wax, shampoo carpets, seats, door panels, etc. it is evident in photos taken, before it left the lot. No Paypal will be accepted, Only secure payment such as Bank Check, Wire, or Cash. Clear title will be held until funds are cleared.
