1968 Chevrolet C-10 Custom Stepside
I bought this truck as a project and have done a lot of work on it, but have have grown tired of working on it and I'm passing it on to someone to put the finishing touches on. Be sure and watch all the videos below as they will cover the main points.
Truck has 350/400 engine/transmission. Motor runs good (Edelbrock 1406 carb, 600 cfm) you can see in the list below what the previous owner did to the motor & tranny. The transmission leaks, (I talk about that in Video #7 below). It was low when I bought and I put a brand new transmission oil cooler with new lines on it, replaced the vacuum modulator with new o-ring and put a new oil seal on the shift linkage shaft. I did not replace the pan gasket. Still leaked, so I just quit adding fluid to it because it was making a mess in the shop floor. Was going to leave that job to my mechanic, but never got to it. The driveshaft is also floppy, also video #7. The truck does ride and drive, see video #2.
The previous owner put new rear brakes and wheel cylinders on it, but still needs some work on the front brakes, or do a late model disc brake conversion.
Comes with flow-master mufflers that are currently just stuck in the long tub headers to make it quieter in the shop. The horn button, relay and wiring is all there but just clicks when you press it, so needs a new horn. (that's a cheap addition).
All lights, turn signals and wipers work. Everything else is just personal owner preference as to what you might want to do or not do to the truck.
Comes with a clean/clear title in my name.
