1963 Chevrolet Corvair -- Additional Info:
For sale is my 1963 Chevy Corvair convertible. The car was restored by a man in Alabama before I got it. Overall it's a nice car. Turns heads everywhere we go. 87k miles. -Paint and body- Good shape with no visible rust. There are imperfections but from 10' it looks great. -top- The top stretches and stows away perfectly. No visible tears. The rear wondow plastic has some scratches. -windows- All windows function properly rolling up and down. The front windshield is cracked and has some scratches from windshield wipers. The previous owner was supposed to ship a replacement but never did. -tires etc- Tires are newer with great tread. They can't have more than a few thousand miles on them. -interior- Seats are in great shape and were recovered by a pro. There's one small separation in stitching on the driver seat. Easy repair I just didn't get to. Carpets are in good shape but need to be resecured in a few places. Dash board looks good. Radio included but doesn't work. theres a chance it's just not hooked up. Speedo works. They added an aftermarket oil pressure and amp gauge. -all lights work -engine- Dual carb flat six engine. There are different series and this is a smaller hp engine. Theres a small oil leak from one of the bolts holding on the oil filter. It's a relatively easy fix, I just haven't gotten to it. Other than that there are no visible leaks. Carbs were tuned and the plugs changed recently. -transmission Manual transmission 4 speed. Shifts well. Haven't noticed any slipping.
