Hello; this is a 1964 Chevrolet c60 truck with a tel- econ lift boom [ crane ] on the back. Truck has the old W engine in it' either the 409 or 348 big engine in it. the truck has been parked i say since the last VA. state inspection of 9/ 2010 . i change the oil ' filter' spark plugs' point's cap and rotor' put a new battery in it' 'hook up a gas jug and fired it up; you can see the first start on my you tube channel at [ david hall 1964 Chevrolet c60 ] since then i drained out the old fuel out'' put in new' fuel and filters' lower radiator hose ; fresh antifreeze and a brake line. the old engine sounds real good. I had some people tell me the engine is a 409?'because of the passenger side dipstick'? and others have told me it has the 348 in it'. A factory under bore 409 block ?? i do not know ; The old engine got great oil pressure reading on the dash and sounds great. Now about all the crane stuff on the back ; i have not try it out yet; so the condition is at this time unknown' probably OK ?.[ i try it out this weekend ; and report my test ] tires look very good and stay up on air; The body of the truck looks very very good for it;s age ' just a dent on top of the cab.[ see photo ]. The brakes need to be bleed were i changed the line. [ got a little peddle' enough for yard stopping ] . i highly not recommend in driving this truck anywhere ; until is has thoroughly have been gone through by a qualified mechanic' for road safety ' therefore TOWING IS NECESSARY. . I hope i have described the truck as best i can; and feel free to ask me any question and i will try to answer them to the best of my knowledge. I feel the truck has got a lot of life left in it with very little work; or use the engine in a hot rod ? The millage on the speed-odometer reads 39:999' but i say for sure it's probably broken; so millage is unknown' from the way the truck looks i say the mileage is low. This truck has always been a locale truck ; . Title is clean;with my name on it. .
