This 1937 Chevrolet 5 window coupe is a complete custom and it is stunning! This car is all steel, ncluding the rear fenders, unning boards and cowl with the exception of the front fenders which are fiberglass. Finished in a striking, wo tone metallic paint, he car shimmers going down the road and demands attention.
This car does have a 1938 Chevrolet front end which looks great. The front and rear bumpers have both been rechromed and show no pitting or imperfections. Inside, he interior is all new and in near perfect condition. Finished in a leatherette / tweed combination, t’s finished to a high quality. The dash has been painted to match the exterior which looks great. Both seats are in great condition with no wear to be found. There is a section behind the seat for storage. Carpet all looks new and shows no wear. Headliner, ick panels and door panels are all equally as nice and have the same pattern as the seats. The steering wheel is from Lecarra and is leather wrapped. All of the gauges are from VDO and have gold bezels which look great. This is an A/C car that has had a vintage air unit installed.
Under the hood, he 1968 350 Cu In V8 runs great and is connected to an automatic transmission. The car goes down the road very smooth and is a joy to drive. This would be an awesome cruiser for the strip or simply a weekend toy to take to car shows. The engine compartment is very clean and tidy with chrome air cleaner, lternator, an shroud and valve covers along with stainless headers and a polished A/C compressor. The trunk has been nicely finished to match the interior and includes a space saver spare. Something very rarely seen in these custom hot rods! The new 17″ and 20″ chrome wheels look great and are wrapped with Firestone Firehawk tires that have good tread life left on them. The front end is a custom disc brake set up. Underside is very solid and clean as you can see in the photos. This 37 is ready roll…. Get out and DRIVE!
