1957 Chevrolet Other Pickups Additional Info:
Available is a 1957 Chevy 3600 pickup big window. It is a great driver, and could be a daily driver! She has a 292ci GMC 1959 motor paired with a 4 speed. The tranny is quiet, the clutch is great with no slipping or chatter, all brake shoes, springs, and adjusters have been replaced. Starts every time first time, has original floor started. The light and brake lights work, turn signals work, has new heater motor, radio works, but no speakers.
The frame is nice and the cab mounts are solid. There is a little in both cab corners and some in the front floors, that's about it. The body is straight with the exception of the right rear quarter. All glass is good, the windows both roll up and down nice. Newer hoses, dist cap, battery, plugs, wires, prof rebuilt carb, hoses, voltage regulator. She has 17" wheels with Chevy 1/2 moon caps. Tires are good but old. The front seat looks vintage and is in great shape. The original side view mirror mast is still there, it has a set of vintage stainless truck mirrors, and a non working spotlight!!
The bed floor rails are still inatact, because about 35 years ago some old checker plate steel was put in the bed. I have more pictures of the engine, body, interior and belly if needed. I love this truck, but I'm going to have to let her go. Been in Tennessee for at least 40 years, maybe since day one!
Truck sold as is with no leins and a clear Tennessee title. I've described her to the best of my knowledge. There is no warranty. The $500.00 deposit is non refundable. Zero or negative feedback bids will be retracted. Ask questions before you bid. I can hold for a few weeks and have a transportation broker I can refer. Transportation is responsibilityof the buyer. Thanks
