1964 Chevrolet El Camino Additional Info:

I bought this car to do an LS swap, exactly the way you see it,but too many projects and not enough time or space. This is an excellent candidate for a build the way you want it. It does have a 1975 chevy 350 truck motor and an automatic transmission in it. It does ru, however since my intentions were to remove this drivetrain, I never drove this car and I cant guarantee the condition of the motor or trans. I would personally put a new wiring harness in the car. I was going to do that if I was to keep the car. The car is 100% solid. It has new floors welded in. There is no frame rot. The rockers are solid. The bed is solid. It has all new brake and fuel lines. It has a new power brake booster and master cylinder. The car stops. It has manual steering. The suspension appears to be all original. The tires and wheels are acceptable.The body is solid but appears to have had work done to the right rear quarter. The paint is about 5 years old and has not been rubbed yet. I do have most of the chrome if not all of it. There is a later model power seat in the car but the original is present. There are new door panels in red, one of which is yet to be installed. I have two new carpets for the car, a red and a black one. I havea newheavy rubber mat which goes under the carpet. I have two different new headliners for the car. I have the cover plate for the tailgate. I have various new lenses, trim pieces, a new ignition switch and door lock, and various new screws and hardware which are included. This car has potential. The new owner will have to tow this car from its current location at their expense. I may consider a trade for a current model car,truck,or suv of same value. No bikes or boats.
