1972 Chevrolet C-10 Additional Info:
1972 C30 with an LQ9 and 4L80E swap from a 2005 Chevy 2500 HD Pickup. All new wiring and computers. Engine and tranny have less than 10,000 miles on rebuild. 20k on the original odometer. $6500 Custom made bed with sealed side boxes, LED lighting and goose neck hitch. Also has D rings built into the bed. Interior is very clean. Runs and drives great. Drives down the road like a new truck. Straight as an arrow. Has original fuel tank with an external fuel pump mounted under the cab.
Its not perfect and even though its from Texas the drivers cab corner and rocker panel have a small amount of rust bubbles. No other rust that I have seen. Frame is solid. Tires are in almost new shape with lots of tread. All gauges except Speedo and temp is connected and working. Also horn into working. Probably a quick fix. Just haven't had time to tinker with it. Driver quality paint. You can see the original blue coming out in a few spots. Trans cooler line to radiator is leaking a bit. I will tighten and seal if I get the chance. No radio.
Its a real head turner and I get compliments everywhere I go. Only reason im selling is because I am buying a new house. Very unique truck especially with the custom bed. I haven't seen another like it. Well over 20k invested. My loss your gain.
