1966 Chevrolet C-10 Standard Additional Info:
Up for sale is this 1966 Chevrolet C20 original paintCaliforniablack plate survivor. This truck has been converted to all C10 1/2 ton suspension with coil springs front and rear. All suspension components used for the conversion were out of another 1966Chevrolet truck. This truck is an original PG&E service truck and was purchased by the previous owner from a PG&Eequipment auction in 1970 and was under his ownership from 1970-2016 until purchased by me. This truck is mostly original paint, with the cab being 100% original and the utility box most likely being painted at one point in it's life to match the truck when it was installed. The interior is mostly originaland in excellent condition for it's age. This truck is factory equipped with the larger 292 engine and a 4 speed manual transmission. This truck runs and drives well and has had the following work and parts added recently: New battery, all new brakes (master cylinder, wheel cylinders, flex hoses, brake shoes, etc.), driveline rebuilt, new U-joints, and a center support bearing. Besides all of the suspension being converted to original 1/2 ton suspension, it was also lowered with the following parts and work: Rear lowering springs, lowering blocks, adjustable track bar, C-notched frame, front shock relocators, and a front end alignment. One key works both the front door lock and ignition switch. Most of the electrical works as it should: brake lights, turn signals, headlights (high/low beams), dash lights, wipers, etc. all function properly. Included with the sale is a clear California title in my name, original owners manual, original sales brochure, and a photocopy of the pink slip from the previous owner dated 1970.
