1965 Chevrolet Impala Additional Info:
Up for auction is a very gorgeous restored 1965 Chevy Impala. I have owned the car for 13 years and am the one who restored the car. Runs and drives excellent. The car is not perfect, but it's a very nice looking and running car.
Exterior: The car is painted orange with black strips where the panels used to be. The chrome was either re-chromed(bumpers) or replace for the entire car. The car needs some minor paint touchups.
Interior: The interior is black and in great shape. All of the interior except for the dash and the backseat are aftermarket. There is no stereo, mainly because the car sounds so good that you do not need it. It does not have A/C. The front seats are aftermarket bucket seats.
Engine: Very Strong, ground pounding Small block 350 V* engine with new 650 quad carburetor, new chrome valve covers, new gaskets throughout, new wires, and new air filter. The engine does not leak or burn oil to my knowledge.
Other under the hood: The car has power steering. The car is equipped with 2.25 hooker headers that merge into 4.25 purple horny drag pipes that turn down to the ground. This car is LOUD in a way that only a muscle care can sound. I have replaced the fuel pump, oil pump, alternator, 650 carburetor, wires, hoses, seals, K & M air filter, new power master starter, and new spark plugs.
Transmission: The transmission is in great working order. I had the transmission rebuilt in November 2015 which has less than a thousand miles. It does not leak oil at all. It has a three-speed transmission with a B&M shift kit installed. The speedometer gear is incorrect which makes the speedometer inaccurate.
Wheels: Five-star chrome 15 inch US customs wheels. Trunk is solid and the frame has very little rust on it.
The reason why I am selling: I am selling this car because I am a graduate student what does not have the time to play with this dream boat. It's a beautiful car that needs to be driven and admired.
If there are any other questions, please email me. I will check it a few times a day. The car is also listed locally, I have the right to cancel the listing at any time. The car is sold as-is with no warranty. Serious buyers can reach me via my cell 252-814-3779, leave a message and I will return the call or text as soon as possible.
The customer is responsible for the shipping.
The car has a North Carolina title even though I live in Florida. The car cover will be included with the car. It's a California Car Cover "Noah" approximately $300.
