1969 Chevrolet Camaro RS SS Additional Info:
1969 Chevrolet Camaro w/ RS/SS options, BIG BLOCK 427 w/ Muncie 4 speed, Factory Correct 12 Bolt Posi Trac Differential w/ 4.11 gears. Excellent quality Hugger Orange paint, Frame off restored w/ new suspension. New disc brakes and power steering. New deluxe houndstooth interior. Center console w/ console gauges. Factory tachometer in dash, all gauges work.. Rally Sport hidden headlights open and close automatically w/ new headlight motor components. 427 motor runs excellent, This is a "3963512" casting high performance block factory rated at 425 HP. Its deck stamp is CE suffix code which decodes as a factory warranty replacement engine. This rare and legendary block is actually standard bore and in amazing condition. Few 427 owners can say theirs is still standard bore! Correct Forged Crank, Rectangular Port Heads. Internally Balanced. Runs excellent with lots of power but still easily driveable on the street. The engine has upgraded rec port heads to lower compression so it runs great w/ premium pump gas. I do have a set of factory correct 69 "9840" rec port heads available for purchase if interested. Suspension goes down the road perfect. All new sub frame bushings. Muncie 4 speed transmission shifts very smooth w/ correct Hurst shifter. New tires and rally rims. This camaro is something special, Chevrolet did not even produce a Camaro this highly optioned. It is basically a Yenko/COPO correct drive train installed on a camaro with all of the most desirable factory options. This is an example of what most Yenko/COPO clones wished they looked like! No open eye headlights, dog dish caps or standard interior here. This car has all the best options Chevy offered for the Camaro, built on top of what is widely known as the most legendary engine and drive train they produced in that era. The car is completely rust free and still has its original quarter panels. No rust or evidence of any accidents. Send a inspector or view the car in person yourself, this one will not disappoint. This is a very late production car that was manufactured during the last couple weeks 69's were ever built. Cowl tag shows X11 code so it was NOT a factory big block car.
