1989 Chevrolet Camaro iroc z Additional Info:
For sale is my 1989 Chevrolet Iroc z Camaro convertible. These are very rare because they only made them for 3 years. The were they top of the line Camaro back in the day. Still turns heads everywhere. Relive your past and roll out old school! A little bit of info about it. Bright red (I believe victory red) with grey and black interior and a black top. The cool thing about these is that the top when down is completely hidden under a cover for a smooth look. The car was in storage for many years out of the sun, rain etc. trying to preserve this classic. It was fired up and driven to keep things fresh. Just recently the car has has new injectors, fuel system flush, intake cleaning, new battery, oil change etc. ready to hit the road. The dash is great, interior is fair to good and carpet is fair but could use a good cleaning and minor touch ups/repairs. The top is in need of repair/replacement. It will keep out the light rain, but there are two small pinhole areas and the inside headliner part has deteriorated. A top will run 350-500 and about the same to replace labor wise. I know because I just spoke to a local shop about it. Weather stripping is fair. The body is straight, and shines up very nicely. It was repainted last year, but we haven't painted the headlight areas black yet or put the Iroc z door decals back on. I will include brand new door decals. All gauges work. No rust. The exhaust was replaced about two years ago. The wheels are original and chrome but pitting and could use replating. The car sounds great and really moves. For a 28 year old car it will surprise you. It recentlypassed it's last inspection. There were 8995 irocz convertibles made in the 3 years of production they all had 305 v8. All the emission devices are on the car nothing has been cut off or thrown away. The door tags are on the cr and that includes the one from ASC when gm sent it out to be made into a convertible. These cars are bocoming more collectable every day and will only go up in value as time goes on. Jackson Barrett has these listed as one of the top 50 collectible cars to get right now. This is a chance to buy a piece of american automotive history. If you would like to see it or have any questions just email me and I will get back to you. Thanks for looking
