1970 Chevrolet Cheyenne K10 Stepside Additional Info:
The 1967-72 C/K series trucks are the most coveted trucks in America largely because, unlike their peers, they can be used as daily drivers without hesitation. This 1970 Chevy K10 Cheyenne Stepside is the rarest of this group. They are incredibly hard to find in good condition for 2 reasons: Out of the 19,072 4X4 Fleet-sides and Stepsides built in 1970 only 1,629 were 6’5” shortbed stepsides. Most Stepsides were treated harshly and destroyed having been sold primarily to utility companies, government entities, and businesses who used the step side feature. A 4X4 Chevy Cheyenne stepside with 4 speed manual, in near perfect condition is a very rare vehicle indeed. Pampered its entire life this truck has been stored inside when not in use. In the mid 90’s the trucks second owner treated it to a full restoration and a new stroked 383 motor. After the restoration the new owner used it primarily in parades and car shows. It participated in the local 4th of July parade every year. Amazingly the truck has only logged 15K miles since its restoration 20 years ago. Painted in Atlantic Metallic Blue the body is laser straight and free of rust. Attention to detail is apparent everywhere on this truck. From its chrome steps, fully diamond plated truck bed, chrome bumpers and attractive pin striping, this truck is the nicest stepside’s we have ever seen. To say the least this handsome truck is the subject of focused attention everywhere it goes. The interior is in immaculate condition. The truck has a new CD Stereo and speakers, new carpet, new kick panels, new chrome door sills, and a new steering wheel from LMC. The seat and door panels are also in excellent condition. The speedometer, tachometer, gauges all work as they should. This truck looks great inside and out an extremely responsive 383 stroker motor, coupled to a manual 4 speed transmission, this truck is extremely fast and exciting to drive. The 3 inch dual exhaust has a deep aggressive sound which only adds to the driving experience. Front and rear differentials maintain their stock 3.73 gearing and the truck drives excellent at highway speeds. Here is your chance to own this amazing and rare 1970 K10 Cheyenne Edition Stepside truck. Values are going up on all 67-72 Chevy Trucks with Stepside’s leading the way. You will be blown away by this amazing, impossible to find, truck.
