Cincy Classic Cars is very proud to offer this Stunning 1977 Factory L82 4 Speed Corvette which is in beautiful overall condition condition and priced to sell. This Corvette is truly exciting being a Factory Black over Black, L82, 4 Speed Corvette with low "Actual" miles of 68,847. This Corvette features a mostly original paint job, a terrific original black leather interior, a super desirable 4 speed manual transmission, and a fully rebuilt excellent running L82 350 engine. This Corvette is very solid with great lines and gaps and shows no signs of visible rust anywhere around the car. This Corvette is finished in the beautiful and desirable color combinations of Black (code 19) over Black leather (code 192) interior. This is the factory color scheme as verified by the trim tag pictured below. The "Actual" low miles is not only verified by the excellent overall original condition of this fantastic Corvette but also by the pictured Ohio title below stating the mileage as "Actual."
Exterior
The Black exterior is in very nice mostly original condition. This Corvette is believed to have mostly original paint as both the previous owners have testified to, and we have not witnessed anything to the contrary. The paint is believed to have a few touch ups but most of it being factory sprayed. The paint is in remarkable shape and has an excellent gloss with a smooth touch for its age but does have some crazing and checking in a few spots around the car. There is no rust anywhere around this car, upper or lower. Both bumpers are in great shape. There are some minor imperfections that are not noticeable in the photos, especially due to the age of the paint, but nothing was intentionally excluded from the photos. The Goodyear Eagle tires are older but still have excellent thread and drive well and are correctly sized 225/70/15 and the wheels are OEM originals and in wonderful shape with no curb rash and shine beautifully. The t tops come on and off nicely and fit snug and do not rattle while driving. All glass is "LOF" original glass. The headlights go up and down as they should and work extremely well. The frame and underneath of this car is extremely solid and very clean and detailed. It looks just as good as the top of the car.
Interior
The Black leather interior of this Corvette is in wonderful original condition. The original seat covers are in excellent condition with no rips, seam splits, or excessive wear. The original carpet is in overall great shape but does have a few worn areas where your heal sits. The original dash is in excellent condition with no fading or cracks and the dash bezel is in great condition as well. The original am/fm 8 track stereo still works well and thankfully the dash has not been cut on for a modern stereo install. Amazingly the 8 Track player still works. The original door panels are in great condition with no major wear and both door pulls are solid and in tact. All interior and exterior lights and gauges work as they should outside of the clock. The horn, stereo, wipers, power windows, rear defrost, and fan blower also work. This car has not been smoked in; there is no aroma what so ever.
Mechanical
This Corvette is in excellent mechanical condition and we have driven it numerous times and it always performs extremely well and is a true joy to drive, especially with the t tops off rowing through the gears. The previous owner owned this vette for 14 years and kept meticulous care of this special vette and had the entire drive line rebuilt and refreshed and currently has around 4000 miles on the build. The L82 engine was removed from the car and mildly built, the original heads were polished and ported, and the carb. was completely rebuilt. Tranny was removed and refreshed. The clutch was replaced as was the radiator. The brakes have been completely serviced including all new calipers, all new brake hoses, and all new stainless steel brake lines, and the brakes work very well. Newer ceramic coated headers were installed with a newer true dual exhaust system. This vette has approximately 300HP and runs and drives exceptionally well and is very tight with no rattles or squeaks. The shocks were also replaced. In the video one can observe this car running and driving with no excessive rattles or noises, and the car handles and performs extremely well. This Corvette is an exceptional driver that feels great on the road and at highway speeds. There is no smoke when starting or driving the car. It starts right away every time, idles well, and runs great. The brakes do not pull and stop as they should. The clutch feels good and it shifts easily in and out of gear. Also, the engine is clean and nicely detailed as one can see from the photos. This is a factory AC car and all the factory AC parts are still in place but the system appears to need a charge to blow cold.
