1969 Chevrolet Other Base Additional Info:
Nice driver, could make for a great cruiser!
Ready to drive right now. 307 engine was rebuilt in 2009 and only has about 2000 miles. Original TH350 transmission was swapped for a 100% rebuilt 700r4 overdrive transmission with the corvette servo, upgraded governor, s10 converter, etc.
Brakes have been gone through with new wheel cylinders, hoses, shoes and work great
Leaf spring bushings have been replaced
Wheels and tires are in great shape
Under carriage is rust free
Dual exhaust
Body is pretty good for the year. It has been repainted sometime in its 48 year history a couple times. There is some filler here and there, and minor rust spots. Very minor though, considering its age
A previous owner had a poorly installed sunroof installed. I removed it and replaced the roof section with OEM from another van of same year. It just needs some final finish work.
Seats are from a 3rd generation van, but I have the originals as well. They could use reupholstery, but are serviceable.
All lights work as they should.
Gas tank has been cleaned and set up with a new sending unit, fuel lines, etc
Gauge cluster needs to be reinstalled. I have 2 of them. You can pick the best parts of the pair and make one nice set.
I have two sets of cargo doors for the side. One set is yellow and has windows. One set matches what you see in the pictures and has no windows. If BUY IT NOW is used, you can pick ONE set... I don't care which. If BIN is NOT used, you get the yellow set with windows. They are in nice shape, but I have a 1st gen van that I'd like to make windowless, so I'll keep those. Clear as mud? LOL Email me if you have questions about this :)
I have the original belly pan and side pans too. Belly pan has been sandblasted, but isn't painted yet. The plastic side pans are ready to be reinstalled.
No rear bumper. Minor details should be taken care of... like door locks, weather strip etc. But like I said... you can drive it now!
This van isn't perfect, but can be driven right now as it sits. Fix it up at your leisure or rat rod it, whatever you like.
