1984 Chevrolet Corvette Additional Info:

Up for your consideration is my 1984. It is a fine example of a time capsule which is my nickname for it. It is 99 percent original that I can see except for tires, battery, and rear hatch struts. Original everything else including mufflers and Missouri inspection sticker from 1983. This is a early production car that has been wonderfully preserved. I was told I was the third owner. Fly in and drive home as the car runs drives 100 percent. I drove it home last year when I bought it on a 3 hour trip. I would trust it across the United States right now even though it is 34 years old. I can text anything you want to see including a short drive video down my road. I'm easy to find as I live right next to I64 in Huntington WV. I do not want to sell but I found another car I want more. Now the cons.... It has the typical clear coat issues of the era that I tried to point out in the photos. It doesn't matter how well you preserve it, I have seen this delamination before and I just keep it waxed to try to combat this. The outside window seals are near perfect which usually dry rot and crack. There is moderate discoloration and light wear on driver seat. The ac system has pressure but compressor doesn't kick on. That's pretty much it. The windows and headlights are smooth as well as the power antenna. There is no fading on the red carpet, no threadbare places and the original floor mats are protected by nice floor mats and a cargo mat. Unmolested engine compartment and no check engine lights. The car warms up accordingly and does not pull. The brakes are 100 percent and do not pull. The front air dam is intact and nice. I painted the wheel centers argent grey as I don't like the black but could be painted back if you wish. Any questions call or text me at 304-654-5117 and my name is Brian.
