A very cool and very custom 1971 Chevrolet Corvette is already an alluring proposition. So when we tell you there's a 590+ hp screaming LS6 big block under the hood, and you control it with an M21 four-speed, then you know just how well this one will dominate everything from car shows to the backstreets. This Stingray started out life as a blue-on-blue car, but there never was anything as wild as this from the factory. The shine from this dark metallic hue looks like you're staring into the ocean at night. It has enough clearcoat luster to highlight all those famous curves that we love on the C3. And have you checked out the rear? Baldwin-Motion lovers will recognize that blue-gray striping package on the back as a tribute to one of the best bow-tie performance builders around. But you also know the aggression on this car goes well beyond the great paint on a slick body. The L88-style big block hood, dark side pipes, and wide 15-inch alloys covered by larger fender flares it's all part of a major street-eating package. You could get a blue interior from Chevrolet in '71, but just like the exterior, you can instantly tell there has been a ton of custom work here. After all, the best way we can describe the color outlining the bucket seats is "electric blue." It's part of an exceptionally tidy total package that utilizes both the bold blue, and deep black, for an almost two-tone appearance. This is a good thing, because there will be plenty of people checking out the inside of this T-top as you go for a bit of wind-in-your-hair cruising. In fact, you'll be able to enjoy plenty of time in the driver's seat thanks to comfortable features such as the three-spoke tilt wheel, full gauge package, Hurst 50th anniversary shifter, upgraded AM/FM/cassette stereo, power windows, and power steering. But, what you really want to know about is what's going on under the hood! The whole engine bay looks like its overflowing with big block power thanks to a true LS6 that has been given a full performance build. The legendary, and probably most desirable, 454 cubic-inch monster has a full hydraulic roller setup with components from Comp Cams, Crane, and Ferrea Racing. There's also Sealed Power forged pistons, a Holley four-barrel carburetor, and so much more. In fact, there are too many components to list (call for all the details.) But just know it makes 592 hp. And you don't have to carry the included dyno sheet to prove all this power, because the header-fed side pipes makes the kind of thunder that will easily scare off the lessor cars out there. Best of all, you are in complete control of this V8's fury and booming soundtrack thanks to the Muncie M21 close-ratio four-speed manual transmission. And while this Stingray is truly a beast, you'll have no trouble taming it thanks to the Corvette's fully independent sports suspension, four-wheel disc brakes, and extra wide BF Goodrich T/A radials. You get a huge file full of receipts and details that went into this restoration. It lets you know there was plenty of thought that went into a very mean machine. So when you realize the new king of the streets is up for sale, you better hurry and grab it. Call now!!
