1977 Chevrolet Other Hatchback Additional Info:
After nearly ten years of off and on restoration work I've decided to part with this project. Too many other irons in the fire..something had to go.
1977 Monza Mirage. 305 V8. Automatic. Bone stock stuff here. The goal was a restoration not a custom. Minimal changes have been made to the car to keep that going forward. Purchased some years ago and started the 'minor restoration'..like most things it went way deeper. Today the car needs to be completed. The body is extremely sound and rust free. A front corner of the unibody was sectioned on it from a minor crunch. The underside is overly detailed with plenty of powder coat and under coat (not hiding any rust either...) The engine was complete rebuilt by Basko Engins (Gilbert AZ), the Trans by AZ Transmissions. All the suspension gone over and rebuilt. Rear and freshened. All the plastic body parts are here including the chin spoiler. The plastic body molding strips also- a small chip in one, the piece is here somewhere also! Carpet kit is here, all the seats have been professionally restored to oe spec with correct materials. Door hinges repaired and rebushed. Underside is detailed with a ton of powder coating (it's cheap) and much of the hardware is either replace or has been zinc plated. All the glass is here. Lighting and exterior trim, louvers etc all here. (no rear window louvers, sorry) And on,. and on..and on..
Overall the parts to complete this car are about 95% or more here. The work needs to be done. It's been on my rack for over a year without anything being done to it. I hate to see it go but I need the space.
Can't begin to be certain how much $ is invested in this to date. $12...15K maybe? Never saved receipts and don't want to know. The car is ready to be completed and on to a new life in the show/club circuit. I've put hundreds of hours and thousands into it thus far..you get the benefits immediately.
IMAGES:You can see many of the current images above as well as the repairs made, changes, improvements etc. Also shown are two of the images upon arrival here.*The completed car images are those taken before the restoration began. The car is currently a roller only.

PRICE: $7500 takes it all. From bumper cover to carpet kit to any last nut and bolt I have for this. I want it gone. No trades, no tire kickers, no low ballers...it's worth this or more. Someone could put another $7-10k into this and have a sweet ride. $500 at time of sale, balance due when picked up.
SHIPPING: Buyer is responsible for all transportation costs. Car is currently on the rack in my shop and will require a day or so to tighten some things making it fully safe to transport. There is a huge pile of both required parts (see pic link) as well as spares and doubles of parts with this car. Much of it will fit inside but buyer will need a pick up or other means of transporting all the parts associated with it. All the glass is out of the car so it will need to be wrapped or use of an enclosed trailer is suggested. I will aide to a reasonable extent in loading and prepping the car for you transport. Cash in my hand, title in yours however and you own it so plan your transportation with care.
