1963 Chevrolet C10 Custom Cab Short BedListed for sale is a nice example of a '63 Chevy C-10 Custom Cab Short Bed *Automatic) finished in the only metallic paint offered in 1963 (Blue Metallic). This pickup spent its whole life on a farm in Floydada, TX (West Texas) by the original owner until it was passed down to one of his farm hands after he past away. The truck underwent a frame off restoration in theearly 2000's in Lubbock TX. I purchased the truck a couple years ago and did my best to freshen up the truck.Some of the things I did to the '63 :*New Coker Wide Whitewall Bias Ply Tires*New Custom Cab Trim, Door Sills & Hubcaps*Main Wiring Harness Replaced & Fuse Panel*Lowering Kit New Springs & Lowering Shocks*Had the (period original)Motorola AM Radio Rebuilt and added a AUXinput for mobil devices*New under dash mounted dual 3" speakers*New Plugs, Coil & wires*New Metal Fuel Lines and Vacuum Line*NewCarburetor*New Distributor*New Fel-Pro Gaskets*New Fuel Sending Unit*New Fuel Pump-I am sure there are thing I have left out,but this gives you an idea of the recent work done to the truck. The only known issues on the truck are:*Horn is not currently working*Odometer is non-op, I am unsure of the original mileage.-All Lights, Blinkers, Radio,Windshield Wipers, Temp Guage, Fuel Guage, Voltage, Speedometer, Cig. Lighter, Dome light all work.
I have enjoyed my time with this pickup and ready to pass along to a new owner, this is a goodopportunity toacquire a nice driver quality short-bed C10.
