Up for auction is my 1967 Camaro -- resto-mod with a fuel injected 5.7 LS1 (2001) and 4L60E automatic Transmission (2001), with PS, PB and AC. The car is in excellent condition and a real head-turner and I would drive it anywhere. Looks great, sounds awesome and when you step on the gas, it will go! 4,700 miles since the swap, actual mileage unknown. SS badging however without original engine it is assumed to be a clone.
I have over $20,000 in receipts just in parts for the engine swap and mechanical restoration which is one of the cleanest swaps I have ever seen.
If you are looking for an old school 1st gen Camaro that gets plenty of attention with the newer fuel injected engine installed by a pro and brand new suspension, this is the car for you. Don’t be fooled by the lower price, compared to other 1st gen Camaros with an LS, this one is well worth my reserve… Taking a loss on this car to get a convertible for the summer.
Features (too many to list them all but here are several):
Color: Viper Blue with white racing stripes.
Paint shines like it should but it does a couple rock chips, not a trailer queen, a driver's car.
5.7 LS1 Engine (2001)
4l60E Transmission (2001)
3.73 Posi Rear (10 bolt – 74 Nova)
Rear multi-leaf suspension
Vintage Air/Heat – AC blows cold
VHX -- Dakota Digital Gauges
15 inch Cragar SS wheels
Dougs Headers
Disc Brakes Front -- Drum brakes in the rear
2 ½ inch PYPES, stainless exhaust
All new smoked glass windows
New Power Steering Box (quick ratio, 2 turns)
Cold Air Intake (Spectre by K&N)
Haywire painless wiring harness
Upgrades just completed in last 60 days: New QA1 front suspension kit with tubular control arms, sway bar and adjustable coiler overs and rear shocks. New Holley oil pan to improve ground clearance so the car can be lowered in the front if that’s your preference.
CD Player with JBL speakers -- with remote and Bluetooth
Includes two sets of fuel rail covers, Custom SS Camaro and Corvette, both shown in pictures.
Includes recent receipts, original service manual, manuals for various parts added which really come in handy and original window sticker from 1967 and 4 keys.
Now for the disclaimers, car is sold "as is" and I don't need any help selling.
