1969 Chevrolet Camaro Additional Info:
1969 Z28 Yenko CamaroThis is probably one of the rarest Yenko Camaro’s built. This car was purchased from Yenko Chevroleton February 19th by a gentleman named Charles Wine, one of Don Yenko’s close friends. They decidedto build this car for themselves to go racing. Don Yenko installed all of his Remaining parts from his“Stormer”program that he started in1967. This car was built to compete with all the big blocks at thetrack. They succeeded. The quarter mile times were in the low 12 seconds where all of the Yenko bigblock cars were. After racing for a year, this fully documented Yenko Z28 Camaro was sold throughYenko Chevrolet to John Shriver. This car retains all of the original Yenko sales documents including the original Protect-o-Plate andcounter receipt from Yenko Chevrolet for the performance upgrades. Also, there is a signed affidavitfrom the owner which states that this is a documented original 17,000 mile car. This car is completelyoriginal. We even have the original time slips from Atco and Pittsburgh race tracks. There is also theoriginal Cam card from Yenko This is a factory Z28 X77 car that retains all of its original components.
