1956 Chevy Bel Air 2 Door Post in clean original condition. This car was found in a barn in Texas over 10 years ago and brought to the Midwest. The car has been siting in a pole barn for thelast8 years virtually untouched (still covered in dust). This car is extremely solid as the floorboard, trunkboard, inner and outer rockers and frame are all in very good solid condition. The body has surface rust but is very solid as well. There issome slight rust on the lower rear quarter panels near the wheel wells on both sides but not major. All exterior trim is in very good condition. The glass is in good condition with the exception of the passenger vent window whichhas cracksand it is missing the windshield. The interior is complete with the exception of a rug, headliner and rear deck panel. The door panels are in ok condition with some tears as well as the rear panels. Seats are aged and torn but are in tact. The front seat has a cover on it but the original material looks to be underneath. The dash is in very good condition. The car has a 265 V8 motor with a manual transmission (Three on the Tree)which have been removed from the car but are included in the sale. This appears to be the original drive train that came with the car but I'm not sure what the status ofthem is.Tires have plenty of tread and the wheels look to be in real good condition. All transmission linkage appears to be with the car as well as the steering linkage. This car has had thelower front bumper fillerreplaced but other then that hasnot been modified or altered in any way. I have to reemphasize that this car is extremely solid and in pretty much in its original state. The following new parts will come with the sale of the car.
A majority of the parts are from Danchuk. These are all new parts in boxes, sealed bagsor wrapping. This is easily over $4000 in parts. A few other miscellaneous items are included as well. The car has a pretty cool patina look to it as it sits butis originally a two tone Sherwood Green/Pinecrest Green,. Definitely worth the time and effort to put back on the road. Plenty of parts included to restore to new.I have tried my best to describe car for what it is. Clean title in hand. If you have any question please message me. I have the right to end auction early as the car will be for sale locally as well. If you have eBay feedback of 5 or less you must message me prior to bidding or your bid will be cancelled.
