Up for auction is this really nice '29 Chevy 1 ton truck. It has recent paint and looks really nice, not show quality, but very respectable. Eye catching for sure. The glass is all good along with new tires. Mechanically it is all original with a "stove -bolt" 6 cylinder 194 CI engine. The previous owner says it was rebuilt and it starts & runs like it. 2000 miles since 4 spd manual tranny along with a 2 spd rear end. Back in the day this was a city truck they used to haul and deliver coal---hence the 9 ft. box and heavy springs.(see pics) It looks nice & is painted up underneath. The fraime is 100% solid. The whole truck is for that matter. The possibilities with the box are many. Or could be shortened as well. The truck was appraised by an expert for $8500.00. The truck would make an excellent parade vehicle or a feature vehicle for display. It would look great outside an antique shop, bait shop or dealership. Lot's of great possibilities there. Get creative. The truck has a new top, recent paint and mechanicals done so it is ready to roll on its 4new tires(Coker Classic 6.00 x 20). The interior is clean and nice. It has an unmolested dash with decent gauges and new wood floorboards along with a recovered seat. It has a tilt-out windshield. The exhaust is newer and very quiet. It is overall a great solid truck with a very low, easily affordable reserve. Check out my feedback and bid with confidence. I am sure the new owner will be very satisfied with this rare Chevy truck.
