THERE ARE OVER 90 PICTURES OF THIS STUNNING MUSCLE CAR IF YOU DON’T SEE THEM SCROLL INSIDE THE DESCRIPTION BOX, REMEMBER THIS IS A NO RESERVE AUCTION SO THE HIGH BIDDER WILL TAKE THIS BEAUTIFUL BEAST HOME!!!!!
You are bidding on a super nice 1972 Chevelle SS Pro-Touring Monster. To start off this car was originally from Puerto-Rico but was always garaged and brought to the United States in the early 2000, yes it is very solid as it was always well taken care of. The car was originally built to dominate the street with a custom twin turbo 383 stroker that put out well over 1100 horsepower. But it was honestly to much for the street so the 383 was taken out and and twin turbos removed, all the plumbing and fuel system is still set up for them if the new owner wants to reinstall.
The engine currently run is a new 383 stroker built from the original Twin Turbo engine. The pistons were changed to a pump gas 11 ½ to 1 and the entire engine was rebuilt and reinstalled into what you see. The engine has literally 100 street miles on it. It was dyno tuned at 485 horsepower to the rear wheels. The entire rotating assembly and block were built to handle 20 pounds of boost. It is a LT-1 Late model block with splayed 4 bolt main studs. Clevite 77 bearings with forged billet crank. Eagle H beam connecting rods with ARP bolts. J&E forged pistons, Trick-Flow 195 CC Aluminum heads with ARP studs. Comp Cam with .560 lift and 282 duration that soundsincrediblynasty. Full roller valvetrain with Comp roller rockers. Chevy aluminum intake with custom tuned 750 dual pumper mechanical secondary blow thru carburetor, the intake was extensively ported to match the heads. Automotive 2000 GPH electric fuel pump and Aeromotive fuel pressure regulator. MSD Pro-Billet Ignition with Boost retard. MSD Digital 6AL with Rev limitier and Boost a Pump. High volume Mellings oil pump it literally runs 80-100 psi oil pressure when cold. All AN fittings and stainless steel lines from front to back with custom sump installed in factory gas tank. Still has the intercooler installed in the grill with custom dual tranny coolers.
Cooling this beast is a custom 4 row aluminum Radiator with dual electric fans it doesn’t get above 180 even in the intense Florida Heat. New high volume water pump from summit.
Car has A/C currently not hooked up though but all the lines are ran and the compressor is mounted. This Chevelle SS is fully equipped with PowerDisc Brakes, and Power Steering as well.
Transmission is a Turbo 350 with a 3600 Yank Stall Convertor, Pro-Billet Internals, Hardened Input shaft. Manual shift valve body. B&M pro-stick shifter. Balanced 1100 horse driveshaft.
Custom rebuilt 8.2 rear that will handle anything. Strange 31 spline axles. Richmond 3:73 gear. Eaton Posi unit. Racing bearings and seals. Girdle with ARP bolts. All the suspension was replaced a few years back and the car rides super nice. Has all the good stuff front and rear high performance sway bars. Lakewood drag shocks, eibach springs, lowered 2” in the front. Custom 3” exhaust with flowmasters and dumps.
The paint and body were redone not to long ago and it is a very nice job, not perfect has a few blemishes here and there but nothing that you can notice unless you get right up to the car and as you can see in the pictures it will hold its own at any car show. All the SS trim was added and I just installed a new triple plated chrome rear bumper with new SS emblem. Front bumper is in excellent shape with minor wear. This SS has a very nice shine, very solid overall, and the underneath is spotless. Stripes are cleared over and it looks amazing with the non-functional cowl hood. The trunk is very nice and solid with rear mount Optima battery, and nice carpeting for the shows.
Wheels and tires are the factory Rallys with Mickey Thompson Drag Radials on the back and nice tires up front.
Brakes are the factory front disc and rear drum they were gone through not long ago but I do notice the master cylinder is getting weak if I have a chance I will have it replaced but just like to make any potential buyer aware, other than that the car stops on a dime.
Interior is all new including new Front and Rear Door Panels, New Arm Rest with New Pads. New Package tray. New Carpet. New Headliner. Custom Netami Bucket Seats with Seats Belts. New Dash. All New Auto-Meter Carbon Fiber Gauges. New Sill Plates, Car is wired for a custom stereo system with a nice Kenwood Radio currently not hooked up. As you can tell by the pictures the interior is very nice. All the windows roll up and down as they should and the front windshield was replaced at the time of the restoration. All the lights, wipers, etc work as they should, has nice custom Halogen Headlights for night driving.
Overall I would say this is a very nice Chevelle SS that is ready to take to your local car show or have some fun at the track. Car needs nothing just turn the key and enjoy. The engine alone is around $12,000 to duplicate and is ready for whatever you want to throw at it. Any questions call Frank at 863-381-4954 or to schedule an appointment to come look at the car. Car is sold AS-IS and I have a clear Florida title and I can promise you my cars are as advertised. You can look at my feedback I am very honest. I am a private collector and am just looking to downsize my collection. Remember this is a NO RESERVE auction so the high bidder will take this true muscle car and American icon home. Payment is due within 7 days on auction ending no exceptions unless prior arrangements have been made. Please do all inspections and have all funds in order prior to auction ending, Clear title ready for the new lucky owner, thank you!
