Up for auction today is a very nice Laguna S3 Chevelle. It was restoredseveral years ago and has been driven very little since. The information on the original window sticker indicates that it was delivered to Chevrolet Motor Division in Denver, Colorado. The warranty information suggests that it was sold to the first owner with 3,000 miles on it. This would suggest that it could have been a factory demo and by the list of options it retainsI think it is a good assumption. Air, PS,PL,PB,Tilt,Cruise,Rear Defrost,Duel Remote Mirrors,400ci. Engine.
It was restored when the current owner purchased it 2 years ago. It has been totallyrefinished in its original colorsand striping. There has been additional striping added along the belt line and a rear spoiler which were not factory equipment. All chrome and glass is in great shape as is the interior with the signature swivelbucket seats. The engine has been modified with an aftermarket carburetorand intake,air cleaner,headers,and dual exhaust. It also has a replacement air conditioning compressor. Air blows cold and the heat works like it should. It has a later model GM radio with cassette player and a CD player installed in the trunk. Spare is original and has never been on the ground. There does not appear to have been any rust repair in the usual areas where these cars go bad and is solid underneath frame,floors and trunk area.
