This truck will be perfect topromote your businessandadvertiseby driving around with your business name on it... everyone looks and waves! orpark itin front of your businesswith the flatbed displaying your product or sign...its a tax write off?So many possibilities!
HISTORY: This truck originally came out of Wisconsin and arrived in Massachusetts for a local collector, I was able recently purchased 3 of these flatbed trucks and I removed them from a private dry storage building where the trucks had been on display for many years. The trucks were transported to my conditioned building where they are currently being stored inside the conditioned space until new owner picks up. The other two flat beds seen in the photos, (orange and blue trucks) are for sale locally and may be listed on ebay at a later date. The truck is in great overall condition.
DRIVETRAIN: The original 6 cylinder engine was removed butis included in the sale. The truck now has a very nice running 1970 small block 350 with 4 bolt main performance block. The motor is all new with summit cast iron heads, roller rockers, edelbrock intake, carburetor, and HEI ignition. Tubular automotive custom made equal length headers, new exhaust leading to chrome stacks behind the cab. The original 4 speed transmission is still in place and received a bell housing and clutch.
CHASSIS: The chassis is in excellent condition and shows very well like the rest of the truck, the tires suspension, brakes etc all look correct and clean. The tires are all new.
INTERIOR: The interior is like new and original, the tan bench seat is solid and cushions are firm and not worn out, the material is soft and looks like new, the gauges are all clear and work correctly, The heater, wipers, blinkers, headlights, brake lights, etc. all work as they should. The glass is in great condition and the windows roll up and down too!
BODY AND PAINT: The body is original and has not had any patches or panels replaced, it does have the expected some rust in the usual places and can be seen in the photos, such as cab corners and lower fenders. Overall the paint shines very nice and looks great but it was painted years ago and shows its age with the typical paint chips and flaws as seen in the photos. All of the emblems and chrome look great and shine very well. The inner fender wells are included but were removed to fit the custom headers.
FLATBED: The flatbed is solid and looks like new, the wood has been replaced at some point and looks correct and very clean.
OVERALL: All the pictures were recently taken for this ebay ad and represent the trucks present condition. This is an amazing truck that starts right up and runs and drives excellent, smooth and quiet! It’s perfect for parades, business advertising, hauling for hobby around, or just cruising around enjoying people smiling and waving like back in the day!
