I bought this truck in November of 2000. It was a cab and chassis with a camper body on it. It had 52k original miles on it and was in very good condition. It was originally equipped with a 327 V8, but was changed to the current 400 V8 small block in 1973. I had the camper removed and then did a restoration on the truck. The flat bed is was made for this truck. The original color was changed from white to black.
The black paint is incredible, and pictured don't do it justice. There was only a very small amount of rust on the truck. The RH rocker was replaced with a GM one, and there were a few pin holes in the RH fender. Cab mounts and floors were perfect. It was painted in 2001.
Most of the interior is original. The dash pad, door panels, arm rests, and seats are factory, unrestored originals to the truck. The carpet was replaced, and the center console was recovered.Real Alcoa dually wheels with excellent tires. The truck runs and drives great. I have owned this truck for 16 years.
