1950 Chevy, 2 door, Deluxe, straight 60-235cid, factory automatic power glide transmission, engineturns freely and oil is clean, so will likely run with a little elbow grease a battery and tune up previous owner had it running about 6 months ago but fuel pump went out and needed carb work.Great condition considering 67year old car. Will make and awesome low rider rat rod hot rod, you can bag it, static drop it with dropped front coil springs and rear leaf blocks. This also can be swapped to a v8 LS motor for go anywhere and sleeper grocery getter.Thisare very fun cars and this was a BARN FIND that appears to be all original numbers matching from the drive train to the body panels that can be restored to original or make it what ever you want with little effort.
Starting from the front working to the back of the car here is the vehicles description to the best of my knowledge starting with the good.
EXTERIOR- Body is fairly straight, minimum wear straight as it can get andwith little work needed to make look new or leave as is with a good coat of clear coat for that patina beautifully aged lookthat justcan't be replicated. Over all the body has just a few smalldents on passengers door and upper quarter and on trunk lid easily popped out and refinished. The rust areas are the common ones but also easily repaired since all panels are sold forthese Chevy and are inexpensive, those areas of rust are both front and rear driver and passenger floor boards, the rest of the floor is in good conditionunderneath front and back seats. Needs some small rust repair on both quarter panels just in front of the wheels as well astrunk floorneeds a couple of small patchesin the sparetire well and by the gas filler neck cover (see pictures). The onlymissing trim is forbothdriver andpassenger doors and fenders and back quarters reveal molding.Front and back windshield complete stainless trim is included as well as back glass. Sorry no windshield.
INTERIOR-Beautiful front and rear seats period correct stylebut from a newer year Chevy vehicle with nearly perfect upholstery, very clean and nice ready to be used and awesome for a patina rad rod hot rod car. All gauges in place all knobs switches, factory radio andclock as well as stainless/chrome trim on dash and steering wheel. Shifter marker on steering column for automatic transmission from factory.
DRIVE TRAIN-Again factory 6cylinder 235cid, specific to this model because of factory automatic transmission Power Glide. As previously stated engine turns freely oil looks clean and previous owner stated he had it running about 6 months ago before fuel pump went out and said it also needed carb work. All wiring is original in great condition with no broken or tampered wiring or damaged insulation to the best of my knowledge, all looks clean as it can be for a 67year old car and for the materials of the era. The cloth on the wiring in the engine is clean and unbroken as far as I can see and to the best of my knowledge.
The over all condition of the vehicle is great for a quick winter project restoration or a patina rat rod back yard build that you can get on the road quickly with the factory drive train or a v8 modern swap. Inspections are always welcomed and recommended so that you are happy with what you are buying and no false expectations of what is been sold. This is sold as is with no warranty implied or stated, what you see is what you get and it is what I am selling to best of my knowledge.
This car does not currently have title, but a clean clear Florida title can be obtained for the buyer for an additional $400 and will take about 30 days, vehicle has originalvin plate on driver's door post and data plate in engine firewall.I can also provide bill of sale from previous owner from state of Mississippi as well as one from myself. There is also another set of seats from what appears to be an mid to late 60s or early 70sera Chevy, Old, Pontiac or Buick, which I will include in the sale for an extra $150. These are also in good condition with some tear on back side of the front seat and are cloth and vinyl not all vinyl like the ones in the car and are light blue in color.
