FOR SALE
1980 Chevrolet C10 Silverado
ORIGINAL PAINT
60,283 ORIGINAL MILES
SHORT BOX
Original Massachusetts truck
Up for sale is my 1980 Chevrolet C10, C-1500, C-10, Silverado ½ ton short-box. I bought this truck with all intensions of keeping it, but I have since found another classic car project and need to make room. I bought this truck several years ago from the original owner, who was in his 70’s. This truck is a true time capsule. It’s all original, original paint, original interior. Has a 350 V-8 engine, runs perfect. Would not hesitate to drive this truck to anywhere.
The exterior of the truck is in amazing condition, the paint has held up great, when I bought the truck I rubbed and polished the entire truck.
This truck has all the options offered back in 1980. Very hard to find with power windows and locks. Everything is how it was in 1980. The A/C blows cold, all the windows work, the power locks work perfect, even the cruise works great. Even has delay wipers. This truck was always stored in the winters and driven very little.
The interior is amazing, has the original carpets, door panels and even the GM rubber floor mats. I do have the original steering wheel, which goes with it.
After I bought the truck, I purchased a set of BOSS 20 inch wheels and installed. I also lowered the truck with rear drop shackles, drop spindles and new shocks. Rides like factory. I do have the original ralley wheels, which go with it. I have all the books and original sales brochure included also.
Now for the bad: The paint is original and it has some defects, see the pictures, some of the edges have very thin paint, it has a small dent on right corner of the box under the molding, also a small crack/rust spot on the lower driver quarter, have a new panel that I will include. I didn’t want cut or paint anything on an original truck. It’s a common area, the water just sits there. Another thing under the rear cover is holes on the bed rails where at one time there was chrome rails, which I removed. Those are the only areas I can think of.
I think you would be hard pressed to find a nicer truck in the country!! I have a clear clean NY state title.
List of equipment:
350 V8 Engine, Air Condition, Automatic trans, Power windows/Power locks, Tilt/cruise, Power Steering/Power Brakes, Am-FM stereo/ Delay wipers
If you have any questions feel free to email me or call Dan @ 585-391-6512
These trucks are going up in value every day, don’t miss the opportunity to buy one of the cleanest truck on the market.
As I said I do have a clean title in hand to transfer.

Let me be clear, I've had a few questions. This truck is Automatic Transmission. As for the rust, there is a small spot on the bottom of "THE LEFT REAR QUARTER PANEL, very common place water sits on the inner quarter panel and rusts. I have a new lower quarter repair panel to fix it, which is included. I didn't want totouch the panel.
