Although I love this car, I decided to let somebody else enjoy it. I have inherited it & since I'm not a car expert, its been very hard to give it the attention it deserves. Its in good condition, starts & runs with no problems at all. It needs some little work here & there, but nothing major. I have been told that this might be one of the original pace cars in the race in 1969, but I have no written proof on that. Please be advised that when saying original pace car, I mean it probably was one of the pace car replicas presented by Chevy that race. Although I don't have any documentation to prove that, researching the cowl tag (place & date built) points to the fact that it is one of the replicas from the 1969 race. Again, the car DOES NOT come with any documentation regarding its origin. All the information listed above is based on information gathered from research using the cowl tag & vin number. There is NO written or certified documents to support the cars origin. Please do your own research regarding its history. I CAN NOT guarantee for the accuracy regarding the cars history.
