1950 Chevrolet Other Pickups 3800 Standard Cab Pickup 2-Door Additional Info:

VERY RARE!!! 1950 3800 1 ton pickup with a 9' bed. This was part of Chevrolet's Advance Design Series (1947-1954); the best-selling trucks of their time. 1950 was the last year before Chevrolet installed vent windows on this model. This stock truck was restored in recent years and has less than 1,300 miles on it since restoration. Garage kept, with head-turning black on red. 235 six cylinder engine and 4 speed transmission. Stock 17” wheels, spare included.
This is not a show truck, and was professionally appraised as a “2.” Written appraisal on file at $33,000.00 dated 07/2015. Buyer will need to replace the heater. Wipers are the original vacuum-type, which move slowly. These should be replaced with reproduction 6 volt electric wipers. All reproduction parts are readily available from various suppliers.
The 3800 was built as a work truck. Unfortunately, most of these 3800's ended up in junk yards. This un-molested beauty is one of a handful that escaped an early demise. You’ll probably never find another 3800 like this.
